Presenter Overview
| Salvatore D’Agostino is Vice President, Sales at CoreStreet, Ltd. Sal’s responsibilities include all sales and business development activities for CoreStreet’s smart credential infrastructure and application products. He recently completed the design of the HSPD 12 solution for the new 1.3 million square foot US Department of Transportation Headquarters, the first new governement headquarters in 30 years.
Sal spent the previous 17 years at Computer Recognition Systems, Inc., the last 6 as CEO. Customers and projects there included physical security for the U.S. Capitol, design and integration of EZ Pass, and numerous other security and automation projects.
Sal is member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), a member of the Smart Card Alliance Physical Access Council Steering Committee, the Society of Manufacturing Engineers and Charter Member of its Machine Vision Association, as well as a member of the Transportation Research Board’s Freeway Operations Committee and Chairman of the Intelligent Transportation Society of Massachusetts. Sal was previously a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Director of the Open Security Exchange (OSE).
Sal has appeared on NBC News and TechTV, is author of over 50 publications on security, transportation and industrial automation, shares a patent on intelligent displays and recently collaborated on an exhibit at the Massachusetts Museum of Modern Art with HaHa. A former All-Ivy and All-East wrestler, he lives in Cambridge, MA with his wife Sarah Robinson and son Emmanuel. He is a 1978 graduate of Harvard University.
