Anand has a Ph.D. in Engineering from Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University, NY. Prior to founding Eka Systems Inc., Anand worked as an Advisory Engineer at IBM Corporation. Before joining IBM he worked as a Research Engineer, at the Microelectronics Engineering Lab, Toshiba Corporation, Japan. He has authored more than 20 patents. He has received the Golden Patent Award and twice received the Microelectronics Lab Award for research excellence from the Toshiba Corporation. His current work is on hardware and software systems for wireless mesh networks.
