Session Overview

From Web Servers to Web Services
Track: IP Building Automation Systems
Wednesday May-17-2006
17:30 - 19:00
As the sophistication of building systems increases, so does the requirement of user interfaces. Web servers providing HTML-based user pages used to provide building systems with significant value, avoiding the need to install complex client side software. The advent of Web Services will take user interface design to another level, as well as provide a flexible mechanism for integration. This session will delve deep into the possibilities of Web Services in building applications.

Opening remarks for the panel and a definition of Web Services.
