Jon Adams is the Director of Radio Technology for Freescale Semiconductor (formerly Motorola, Inc., Semiconductor Products Sector). Besides being part of Freescale's technical team, he is chair of the ZigBee Alliance's Qualification Group. He has written and spoken on these technologies as well as providing regular interviews with industry analysts.
Mr. Adams joined Motorola in 2000, after nearly two decades experience in developing wireless telecommunications and radar systems for NASA/Caltech's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He has served in both technical and managerial positions and has been responsible for a variety of earth-, planetary- and space-based telecommunications and radar systems.
Mr. Adams received both BSE and MSEE degrees from the University of California at Los Angeles and holds an Amateur Radio Extra class license. He and his wife live in Scottsdale, Arizona.
