Niagara Framework - A Platform for Open Systems

The keynote session will explore the role of Niagara in Building Automation Facility Management, Energy Management, and M2M applications. Topics will include: What Niagara is and what it is not; how Niagara shows up in the market in a variety of products; the benefits Niagara offers to end users and partners; and how Niagara addresses integration with enterprise applications.

Growth and Impact of the Niagara Community
10:30-12:00

A key measure of the success of Niagara is the growth and reach of the Niagara community. This session will provide attendees with an understanding of the extent of the community and the freedom it provides to system specifiers, systems integrators, and end users. This session will also address how Niagara is used in facility-related applications and real-world Niagara integration examples. This session will showcase case studies from a variety of Niagara providers.

Niagara for Enterprise Energy Management Delivery
1:00-2:30

With the ability to connect to diverse building equipment systems and enterprise applications, Niagara is the ideal platform on which to build energy management and real-time demand response solutions. This session will review enterprise energy analysis tools available with Niagara and showcase real world case studies.

This session will provide attendees with an understanding of where Niagara fits in energy management applications. Key topics will include: Niagara as an infrastructure for communications and control; tools to support energy management; the Vykon Energy Suite providing consumption and cost analysis; demonstration of key capabilities of Vykon Energy; real-world applications of Niagara and the Vykon Energy Suite in energy management; and Vykon Energy as an M&V Tool.

Niagara Appliance - Device-to-Enterprise Solution

Niagara Appliance is a complete “device-to-enterprise” solution for equipment suppliers. Today’s equipment suppliers face new challenges such as the need to provide Internet-enabled systems; the need to integrate with other machines and systems via standard and legacy protocols; the need to improve service while at the same time reducing support costs; and the desire to expand their product business with services that generate new revenue while enhancing the customer experience.

This session will provide a comprehensive overview of the Niagara Appliance program including actual case studies.
